Three miles up the Gwili valley from Carmarthen, among some of the prettiest Welsh countryside, Carmarthen Golf Club provides a challenging 18 hole course suitable for all. The course is complemented by a club house which has considerably enhanced its outlook by building another storey on top of the original clubhouse. The result is a magnificent lounge and dining room with clear views over even more stunning scenery.

Derllys Court Golf Club is close to Camarthen. It offers a 9 hole pay as you play. Par 35, handicap not required. Set in beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside with easy access off the bypass between Carmarthen and St Clears. A delightful 9 hole tree – lined course of parkland nature. The two lakes on the course afford a natural haven for an abundance of wild life. The par 35 is not of great length but the subtle nature of the course demands a great deal of driving accuracy.

Located on the western slopes of the Brecon Beacons and surrounded by fine countryside, beautiful views and with the Rivers Loughor and Gwyddfan alongside its boundaries it a great place for a golf holiday break. The Club was formed nearly 100 years ago and was originally located in Llandeilo. In 1967 the Club moved to its present location and became the Glynhir Golf Club. There is an abundance of ‘wildlife’, otters, badgers, foxes and a wide variety of birds including red kites, herons and buzzards all of which combine to make a visit to the Glynhir Golf Club a memorable and enjoyable experience and add that something extra to a golf holiday.

Glyn Abbey is situated on the southern slope of the picturesque Gwendraeth valley. The surroundings are heavily wooded and there is an abundance of bird life. A further 35,000 trees were planted during construction of the course which was opened for play in 1992. The course is close to a number of tourist attractions including Pembrey Coastal Park, Kidwelly Castle and the Gwendraeth Valley Mineral Railway & Llanelli, 5 miles to the east is host to the National Eisteddfod in Millennium.

Last but not least we reach Ashburnham Golf Club on the south coast of Carmarthenshire overlooking Carmarthen Bay,. It is a challenging 18 holes seaside links course with Championship status and previous European Tour event location. An ideal situation for a golf holiday.
